I don't really think this is a good idea. Most people already hate obby/climb race and this would just add on to that and make other players rage and potentially leave.

I would like race minigames more if the person who picked it didn't get lr from winning, but it would go the next best time. It's annoying to have a pointless round of the lr winner getting another lr.

I see your point, but most people do it because other people don't like it and they know they can usually win and pick something else.

surfing is pretty difficult for the average tf2 player, let alone jailbreak player to do and seems like something most would get frustrated from

it would also be difficult to implement (if not impossible) without editing the maps themselves
