[Rule 1] Gags, Mutes, Silences, Teambans and Server Bans will be applied liberally to rule breakers/exploiters, trolls/griefers, and offensive/abusive players. If you are uncertain of something, do not do it until you ask Staff for clarification (view online staff with !admins command). Punishment appeals must be posted on the !forums in the appropriate section.

[Rule 2] Trolling, disrespecting or harassing players is forbidden. Sexually explicit/inappropriate content/innuendo is forbidden. Sprays must not be sexually explicit (ie: showing genitals) or NSFL but may be NSFW. If your spray follows the previous rules and has been banned, ask a Staff member to re-check it.

[Rule 3] Incompetent BLUs and Wardens can be team banned at Staff's discretion and without warning. If you are NEW, please only play on the RED team (type !red into chat to modify team preference).

[Rule 4] No spam in voice or text. No music, singing or making noises into mic. No trading. No begging. No complaining/mentioning "Freekills" more than 3 times per round.

[Rule 5] Poor mic quality can lead to a perma-mute. Mics with echo, static or excessive background noise will be muted. Mutes can be re-checked by staff on request and may be removed if resolved. Wasting staff time with re-checks will require an appeal on the forums.

[Rule 6] One BLU is voted as the Warden and gives orders to both the BLU and RED teams using MIC ONLY. Remaining BLUs are Guards and MUST protect, obey and assist the Warden at all times and in every way possible. Failure to do so will result in a ban. Operating mini-games or opening doors without Warden permission will result in a ban.

[Rule 7] The Warden MUST speak fluent and understandable English over a high quality mic.

[Rule 8] An order to "AFK Freeze" on our Jailbreak means you cannot use movement keys (wasd). Crouching, taunting, attacking and free looking are ALWAYS permitted while AFK Frozen. Jumping is also always permitted unless the Low Gravity day LR is active, in which case an order to AFK freeze means you may no longer jump.

[Rule 9] For trivia, the question must be asked before buzzers are enabled. If buzzers are already enabled, they should be shut off by hitting a contestant buzzer. REDs may not leave melee range of their buzzer to hit BLUs. Once a player has buzzed in the question must NOT be repeated. Answers for Trivia and True or False must be verifiable, factual, correct and related to TF2, the server/community, current game state or common sense.

[Rule 10] At round start, the Warden must issue an order for REDs to go somewhere (outside of cells) before the doors open. Out of cell rebel is no longer a valid order. If out of cell rebel is ordered, REDs should comply (ie: stay in cells, it is NOT a Freeday) and then inform the Warden of the details of this rule. Wardens who continue to violate rule 10 will be Warden Banned.

[Rule 11] No Detours and Delays is applied to every order. A "Detour" is taking a longer route when a shorter route exists. A "Delay" is the completing of an order slower than is possible (eg: crouch/taunt walking when told to bum rush/run). If Warden Lights are activated then that path MUST be used, regardless of whether a shorter route exists.

[Rule 12] Players who SLIGHTLY "Detour", SHORTLY "Delay", or SHORTLY break an ordered crouch walk cannot be killed. Players repeatedly doing these things MUST be killed. This rule is intended to help new REDs and REDs who aren't paying full attention -- if done to attack a non-baiting guard (ie: a chase or detour) then the RED MUST be killed.

[Rule 13] Warden orders cannot be twisted. If told to go to a mini-game, REDs must go to the start or playable side. If told to start a mini game, REDs must play the mini game normally and completely (Eg: no going around, no standing on walls/props/non-playable areas). If ordered to a location without complete specification, the most logical spot is to be used (eg: the closest line).

[Rule 14] BLUs may only kill REDs who have Rebelled (the ways REDs Rebel are covered in the next few rules) or are declared KoS (eg: lost a mini-game). Any other kill or damage from a BLU is considered Freekilling/Freehitting and is bannable.

[Rule 15] REDs compete for Last Request (LR). LR is assigned by the Warden once per round to the final alive RED who has not Rebelled. REDs can Rebel by: being a "late spawn", disobeying a Warden order, throwing a projectile at/near a BLU or lethal taunting at/near a BLU. REDs who Rebel can and must be killed by the BLUs. A RED who receives LR may either suicide or ask for a Death Request. A RED who receives LR may not rebel.

[Rule 16] REDs can also Rebel by entering or attempting to enter the armory. This includes: stepping on top of / blocking the armory door, swinging at breakables that open the armory (even if the RED misses) or standing near said breakables while another RED attacks it.

[Rule 17] REDs can also Rebel by possessing ammo. BLUs must either see a RED acquire ammo or see a RED reveal the ammo by equipping a weapon to KoS them. REDs who ACCIDENTALLY acquire ammo from a dispenser have not rebelled until they reveal it.

[Rule 18] REDs can also Rebel by damaging BLUs who are not "Baiting". A BLU who is Baiting can be freely damaged until they stop Baiting. A BLU is baiting when: i) they block a RED's path from completing an order, ii) they enter an ACTIVE mini-game area OR a RED's cell, iii) they enter a RED's SMALL bubble of "personal space". Baiters may NOT be chased unless in a cell or active game. REDs may not detour to put a BLU in their path.

[Rule 19] REDs must be given AT LEAST 3 seconds to comply with orders. BLUs MUST be lenient with REDs unless it is clear they have intention to rebel (Ex: rebels frequently, breaks crouch walk to try and backstab then re-crouches, etc). Immediately KoSing a RED for minor infractions (especially NEW, clueless players) goes against what we want the W3E Jailbreak Community to be and you will be banned/removed.

[Rule 20] When one BLU remains (who is not the Warden) they are the "Last Guard" and MUST actively kill all remaining REDs. If only one BLU spawns at round start they may not kill all. If only the Warden remains he may not unwarden to kill all. A Last Guard who qualifies to kill all MUST do so and if they delay may be "Ghosted" without penalty.

[Rule 21] On Warden death, previous orders apply (except name changes) until Warden LOCKS, at which point it is considered a "Freeday". REDs who do not follow previous orders until lock have rebelled. BLUs MUST enforce previous orders until lock.

[Rule 22] If cell doors open with no given orders it is considered a "Freeday". There is no Warden on a Freeday, if one exists they MUST type !unwarden. REDs do not have to take orders and may move freely. REDs can still be rebels as per these rules. "Baiting" on a Freeday ONLY occurs if a RED is physically blocked by a BLU and ONLY until the RED is free. Freedays can ONLY be assigned on the first round of a new map or with Admin permission.

[Rule 23] REDs may ask for an order to be repeated ONLY by typing the word "repeat" alone into chat. A Warden must repeat each order only ONE time and only if requested WITHIN 10 seconds of it being given. REDs requesting a repeat MUST AFK Freeze until it is given. A RED who requests a repeat meeting the mentioned criteria may not be killed until it is given.

[Rule 24] Unfair orders such as ones for REDs to kill BLUs, play "beans", "spray day" and so on are NOT permitted. The following games are also banned: Sharks+Minnows (Gladiator), Shoot-or-Don't-Shoot, Simon Says and any game that exists as an LR (!lrlist). Orders MUST be fairly enforceable (eg: you can't say no crouching in bumble beam as it's impossible to tell who disobeys and those who obey are likely to unfairly die).

[Rule 25] REDs who block or glitch doors MUST be shot until they are no longer doing so. Separately, abuse of map geometry or micro edges that results in an advantage is KoS, unpardonable and potentially bannable. A RED who is "pardoned" by the Warden is no longer a Rebel and may not be killed. REDs who have ammo, attempted to/have entered the armory, or attacked a non-baiting BLU cannot be pardoned.

[Rule 26] Ghosting is defined as impacting the active round while dead, such as revealing player locations or providing trivia answers; exceptions to follow. A valid Last Guard who delays killing all may be ghosted. A rebelling RED not seeking a fight after LR is assigned may be ghosted. Remaining players at round end who cannot find each other can be ghosted.

[Rule 27] For judging/favoritism games (eg: glod, kitchen) the Warden MUST use the /wpollblues command. The winner is the player who gets the most YES votes. REDs who have less YES votes than another RED MUST be killed immediately.

[Rule 28] Projectiles (rockets, grenades, needles, crossbows, etc) may NEVER be fired into enclosed mini-games (fall game, box game, death run, etc) to kill REDs. BLUs MUST NEVER fire into mini games or in the direction of REDs unless intending to kill a KoS RED.

[Rule 29] BLUs and the Warden may not trick REDs into rebelling or dying (exceptions: DR tri-bridge, stage chaos, etc). The Warden must either give order clarifications correctly or not at all ("valid" repeat requests as defined must always be given).

[Rule 30] Death Requests (DRs) are OPTIONALLY granted by the Warden to the LR winner. The Warden may end a DR at any time. BLUs do not have to participate in a DR. If the DR is not started by the time the LR music ends, the RED is KoS. If granted, DRs may last until the 'maximum time' message appears in chat, upon which the RED must be killed or must suicide.

[Rule 31] The last non-rebelling RED MUST be given LR immediately, especially before hunting Rebels. Once assigned, remaining REDs MUST actively seek a fight with BLUs. If LR is assigned accidentally, the receiver should cancel the menu and the Warden should assign a second LR to the last non-rebelling RED.

[Rule 32] REDs who are respawned into cells by Staff MUST follow orders and MUST NOT immediately Rebel and MUST NOT attack baiters. Once respawns have returned to the group, they may Rebel and hit baiters once again. Respawned REDs are automatically pardoned and may not be re-killed.

[Rule 33] No promotion/manipulation/mentioning of the Warden vote of any kind. No asking of another player to unwarden.

[Rule 34] REDs and BLUs may not camp either armory or medic unless an immediate threat is preventing exit.

[Rule 35] Going AFK while Warden is bannable. You are responsible to remove yourself from the vote with !uw if you are going to go AFK for any reason.

[Rule 36] Favoritism is forbidden: For example, if one player does not follow an order and you allow them to live/pardon them while killing another for the same thing.

[Rule 37] Lethal taunting while wearing a skin (or while resized via VIP powers) is forbidden (you may be banned and have your skin/perks removed with no refund provided).

[Rule 38] REDs with skins must be taunt checked by the Warden if it is unknown whether they can taunt or not (some skins can't taunt; !tryskin disables taunts). If a RED is unable to taunt then orders requiring taunting are forbidden.

[Rule 39] CLRs may not inhibit or hinder a regular day from being ran. CLRs may not contain profanity, break any server rule or be similar to an existing LR. At their discretion, the current Warden may deny a CLR that involves accents or impressions.

[Rule 40] Wardens may not run the same game(s) repeatedly. The same game may not be ran 2 rounds in a row (unless requested by a CLR). Wardens may not frequently run FF/meat grinder days. FF/meat grinder cannot be ran in medic and must be ran in reasonable locations.

[Rule 41] Glod/Kitchen/Salties/Disco/First Reaction+Last Reaction/etc must be done with FOUR OR LESS REDs. Trivia/Bowling can be done with the number of available player positions OR four, whatever is higher. Miniputt must be done with 2. Fidget Spinner Roulette must be done with 4 or less. In ALL games, the loser always loses, unless the prize or rules state the winner can choose who loses or dies.

[Rule 42] If an LR winner has been decided or it's obvious who has won, then the following no longer apply: i) any standing Warden orders, ii) an active CLR, iii) baiting of any kind.

[Rule 43] If a mini game ends or has been stopped, then Warden orders applied for that mini game are cancelled (but may be re-applied if stated). This includes things such as: i) constantly jumping, ii) constantly crouching, iii) no taunting, etc. Round encompassing orders applied before the mini game, such as no jumping, are also void when the mini game ends, but may be re-applied.

[Rule 44] Wardens must use their powers appropriately and with reason. Examples of warden abuse include: activating friendly fire outside of a mini-game or other closed environment, showing favoritism, etc. Wardens may only Beacon REDs after LR is assigned or no remaining REDs are eligible for LR.

[Rule 45] Once renamed, REDs may not be referred to any previously held names. This rule does not invalidate a Warden's orders as it's only intention is to prevent the Warden from tricking REDs into rebelling.

[Rule 46] REDs who FULLY exit cells via the Princess Peach hole on Mario Map or top right cell vent on Snowday are considered to be Rebelling. On Space Map, REDs who go onto the wooden cat walk that starts in main cell are KoS. On Chretien Map, REDs who go on any elevated BLU area or the metal cat walk and its stairs are KoS. On Snowday and Famouz, elevated platforms above minigames (eg: Stairway, Bunny Hop) are KoS for REDs.

[Rule 47] Warden creates all other rules not listed in these !rules but may not override any rule listed here. All rules are subject to change at any time, so it's up to you to watch for any changes. NO unspoken rules allowed, if it isn't here, it's not a rule!

[Rule 48] VIPs may not use their powers (eg: karts, resizes) in mini games. VIPs may not use their powers at any point to generate themselves an advantage. If a VIP plans on rebelling, they should make sure to not use any powers. If a VIP has used powers, they should make sure to not rebel for the rest of the round.

[Rule 49] REDs may always pull out their melees to hit baiters. If orders are given that restrict weapons but the game requires them then REDs may use them as necessary. For example, spies order to have sappers only out may swap to hit baiters, play trivia, play arena, etc.

[Rule 50] No advertising other servers in any way (game server IP, web address, etc). Links should be strictly TF2 or War3Evo related.

[Rule 51] If a player is frequently rebelling and repeatedly preventing LR from being given, they can be slain. Non-compliance can result in eventual kicks/bans. While rebelling is also a core aspect of the gamemode, winning LR should take precedence. Ammo LR is excepted. Unless otherwise specified by Staff a player who has been constantly rebelling must not rebel until 3 LRs are assigned by a Warden.

Rule 32 modified to include baiting:

Pretty big rule update, please try to be extra lenient with the changes and to help introduce them to players (new and vets alike) who are unaware:

[Rule 40] Wardens may not run the same game(s) repeatedly. The same game may not be ran 2 rounds in a row (unless requested by a CLR). Wardens may not frequently run FF/meat grinder days. FF/meat grinder cannot be ran in medic and must be ran in reasonable locations.

[Rule 51] If a player is frequently rebelling and repeatedly preventing LR from being given, they can be slain. Non-compliance can result in eventual kicks/bans. While rebelling is also a core aspect of the gamemode, winning LR should take precedence. Ammo LR is excepted. Unless otherwise specified by Staff a player who has been constantly rebelling must not rebel until 3 LRs are assigned by a Warden.
